Aruba’s beaches are a big attraction, and although it’s great to spend long days just relaxing on the beach and listening to the ocean, there are also plenty of opportunities to get to know Aruba’s most attractive sights, historical and natural attractions, and museums.

Driftwood provides all of the equipment and bait. Potential catches include barracuda, tuna, sailfish, and even sharks. If you decide on an afternoon charter, head over to the Driftwood Restaurant afterward for some of the freshest seafood in all of Oranjestad.

It is one of the best. Situated in an area close to many small hotels and time shares, Eagle Beach is, by default, incredibly convenient for those staying in the area. The beach is also close to many restaurants and beach-goers can usually rent water sports equipment on-site.

It offers interesting information on butterfly habits, life cycles, and species, all with a sense of humor. Arrive early and try to catch a glimpse of a new butterfly emerging from its cocoon for a first flight.

Opened in late 2016 at Paradise Beach Villas by Peruvian-born Roxanna Salinas, features a genuine Peruvian Cevicheria. The cevicheria also serves Tiradito, a variation of cevich reminiscent of Japanese sushi, deliciously marinated with a smoky aji Amarillo.

With over 60 shops, entertainment options, and restaurants, it’s possible to keep the kids fed and busy while searching for the perfect souvenir here, whether it’s luggage, cosmetics, clothing, or jewelry. Some featured brands include Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Michael Kors, and Cartier, and there’s a casino on-site too.

These remarkable natural wonders add aesthetics to the landscape, as well as provide excellent vantage points from which to better view the island.

The sanctuary is run by a non-profit organization dedicated to saving the island’s population of donkeys, which used to be a main source of transportation. Purchase a feed cup at the sanctuary or bring your supply of carrots and apples.

It is a friendly neighborhood bakery located in the center of the beautiful island of Aruba.

It is a volcanic formation that dominates the Aruban horizon. While not the highest point on the island, Hooiberg is a popular destination for hikers.

This small beach is generally popular with windsurfers, and there are even windsurfing classes right nearby. But even if you don’t want to windsurf, it can be fun to watch others go at it. There are also many restaurants located on or near this beach.
It is reportedly one of Aruba’s top snorkeling spots. The crystal-clear water allows you to view fish and coral with ease. If you’re lucky, you’ll catch a glimpse of an octopus plodding along the sandy bottom, or some starfish floating with the waves.

Great little beach bar. Stop here for lunch after the tour. What a fun place! The food is excellent and it’s right on the beaches!

The famous and well-visited California Lighthouse was built between 1914 and 1916 on an octagonal base, this stone, double-lens lighthouse is Aruba’s marquee landmark. Standing tall at 98 feet, it’s the highest structure on the island and offers the best views in its respective area.

These rolling, sandy dunes are perfect for exploration aboard an ATV. You can climb up the dunes for a picture or two, stroll among them, or drive through them with a four-wheel drive vehicle.

The only craft beer brewery in Aruba, locally owned and focus on putting Aruba on the map as a craft beer destination.

This historic, picturesque chapel sits on a hilltop overlooking the Caribbean Sea. It was built by Spanish missionaries in 1750 and still holds mass each week. It is said to be one of the earliest established congregations in the Caribbean, if not the first.

It is a cozy recycled residential museum and only Aruba’s home that opens its doors to tourism creating an unforgettable experience for visitors guided by the owner: an artist, cultural expert, and newspaper columnist.

This non-profit refuge for rescued animals is located near the Alto Vista Chapel in Noord, Aruba. Escorted tours will take about 1-2 hours, and you’ll receive carrots and food pellets to feed the animals. Or, you can simply explore on your own and view a wide range of animals that were once abandoned or injured.

The calm and crystal clear waters make this area perfect for swimming and aqua jogging or other exercises. Both motorized and non-motorized water sports are offered in this area and plenty of beach huts and chairs provide for great beach lounging.
